Starbucks Drinks Spicing Up Fall

As the fall is in full swing, all the festive drinks are coming out at Starbucks. The fall menu consists of iconic returning drinks like the Pumpkin Spice Latte and the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, but also a few new ones. Iced Apple Crisp Oat Milk Shaken Espresso along with the Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai Tea Latte, are brand new fall drinks this year adding more spice to the menu. Along with drinks, there are some fun food items too, including the Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin, and a New Baked Apple Croissant. 

Starting out with the most iconic and well-known drink: Pumpkin Spice Latte. When the drink first came out in 2003, the drink was an instant hit, making it Starbucks’ most popular seasonal drink. The Pumpkin Spice Latte throughout time has also excelled through social media including Facebook in the early 2000s, and TikTok and Instagram more recently. Junior Nia Hirschy, who is a big fan of Starbucks fall drinks says “My favorite fall drink from Starbucks is the Pumpkin Spice Latte. I like this drink because it’s not too sugary and it tastes the best.”  

One of the new fall drinks is the Pumpkin Cream Chai Tea Latte. This is one of the beverages that doesn’t have coffee, making it a new unique drink. Sophomore Brodi Bogert says “One of the new fall drinks I have tried is the Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai Tea Latte. I really like it and it is one of my favorite fall drinks.” Since there is no coffee, it is mainly a chai tea base along with pumpkin spices, which gives it a unique taste that people love. Another popular fall drink is the Hot Apple Cider. While this drink is year-round, it’s time to shine comes in the fall. Senior Grace Matthews loves this fall drink and says this is her favorite fall drink because “It is so delicious and tastes exactly like fall.”

These seasonal drinks have everyone in the cozy and crisp fall mood. From the well-known fan favorite Pumpkin Spice Latte to the new Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai Tea Latte, there is something for everyone at Starbucks this fall.
